Your usual guest hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie are joined by the likes of a fun guest host – Meleena! She’s quite a unique fan, as not many can say they have a song written about David Tennant for their birthday (which you can totally jam out to at the end of the podcast)! We talked about a very cold, dirty, Thames-swimming David Tennant in our Picture Comment of the Day, and enjoyed being utterly confused by Nine and Half Minutes. The girls finished up by remarking over his terrible blonde highlights and get distracted by some of the strangest youtube videos known to fans. And as a side note, we had loads of fun – almost too much – and are now slowly collecting pieces for a future blooper take. You girls are nuts! In a good way. I got into your show thru’ Radio Free Skaro and I think it’s fair to say there isn’t a Dr Who podcast like it. I didn’t think that something purely devoted to the (admittedly) talented Mr T could be that entertaining but it is. In fact the best bits are the tangents you go off on with tales of barmy driving instructors, etc.
Have any of you watched much old Who?
Have you listened to the DT commentary on the Five Doctors DVD?
Melina’s song was fantastic! It had a sort of Pet Shop Boys (Flossie may know of them) vibe to it and was really well made and funny.
Anyway, keep it up girls.

Thanks! That means a lot you find it entertaining – that was my personal goal, to overcome the strangeness of our extremely limited topic with hopefully something people will really like listening to (and apparently side rants are the key!). Yeah, we’re a bit nuts, but I dare say it comes with the territory.
Unfortunately not, or at least not me (Kelsey). Chris (from RFS) did kindly send me some “highlights” of older series, however, I did not get to watch them all…It’s high on my to-do list!
And no! I actually was not aware of that commentaries’s existence…
It was incredibly fun/cute! I think David would get a laugh out of it himself. I’ve heard a little bit of Pet Shop Boys, not enough to base an opinion though.
I agree with Dave. It’s great when you go off on tangents. This podcast could be about anything really and I would still listen because you girls are so entertaining.
Also adding “Clock” to the Know the people you’re listening to page really made my day
