Tennantcast #17 – I’m a pony!

Friday, September 11th, 2009

David Tennant? Fabio?! Richard Simmons?!? CopyofCopyoftennantcast2copyThis and so much more is discussed in a very lively and laughter-filled episode of Tennantcast. Your hosts Kelsey, Kari, and Flossie have quite a merry discussion of what David’s alternative jobs could be, which lead into a game once played between our previous editor and Kelsey. Our news segment was mostly filled with discussion of absurd laws, short term memory, and if David likes roller coasters. Our Picture Comment of the Day poses an important question of “what would you do if you found David tied to your bed like in the Friday Night Project episode?” and is answered with yet another picture that begs the question of one’s reaction if you found him staring in your window with “that face”. Our Character Series had some technical difficulties with server issues, so we decided to get the smallest role out of the way – his one liner in Jude. All of this is topped with the cherry of terrible photo manipulations and a certain enthusiastic dance instructor.

Tennantcast #6 – All Tennant fans are friends

Saturday, June 20th, 2009

News was slim again for Episode #6, as always, with your hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie. This gave Kari the brilliant idea to break from our normal structure and stop and say thank you to everyone. As the episode title implies, we believe that all Tennant fans should be friends – so we start out saying thanks to three fellow fansites we’ve had contact with through the years, some online communities, and then of course, to our fellow podcast sites. All have been incredibly helpful and supportive and we can’t thank you all enough. It’s been roughly two months since we’ve started, a little bumpy at first, but with everyone’s help we’ve reach over 2,000 hits.

And on a very silly side note, we recorded at a different time and date than we normally do, so Kelsey’s clocks kept going off – this episode nearly gained a title relating to this incident.

Show notes:

We should all group together in a hug!
If it weren’t for David, we’d be fangirls of Alan Rickman.
3:33 – the chimes make their first appearance. BEWARE.
http://www.david-tennant.com gets an applause for most updated site.
http://www.davidtennantfan.com has great mini sites and an actual fan forum(!)
http://www.tennant-online.net is saluted for operating single handedly.
Tenant_love@livejournal community is best place to get old and new info-
-and I say this as my poor cat, who was sleeping diligently on my lap while recording, is attacked by a falling microphone. I saw no way to edit this out without confusing people, so I apologize. I swear, no animals were harmed in the making of this podcast episode.-
Other great livejournal communities are dt_pic_daily & tenant_report, the latter which updates with our podcast episodes!
12:08 – the chimes attack again.
Tada! – go check our links :)
Tweens, teens, and twenty-somethings.
RFS, Whocast, Podshock, Tin Dog podcast, Minute Doctor Who podcast, Wailing fangirl – all recommended for you to check out.
Flamboyant picture comment of the day…without the cue, grr!

David hires someone to find all his outfits. Best. Job. Ever.
Kari has the storm trooper shirt!
Martha/Freema, GRR.
21:26 – stupid clock.
In which we introduce the character series – too much Doctor Who.
23:17 – I LIVE WITH THIS.
Hurry up and do something, David! Or… do something “David” related?
BIG NOTE: Kari and Kelsey met on a forum where people were called “fhani” pronounced “fanny”. We realized the duel meaning, we forgot to warn you.

***important note: while we record, we have sites up on our computers that we comment on – well, when we mention http://www.gallifreyone.com we meant to say “Outpost Gallifrey”, but looking at the link while it was written on the structure, we just said the site name. We mention the site twice, and didn’t realize while recording we didn’t get the right title. Ok, the “we” is Kelsey – sorry!
