Tennantcast #19 – Alternate Uses of the Plunger Hand

Tennantcast #19 sets sail with yer piratey wenches Kelsey, Kari, and Flossie as they gather ‘round to celebrate international Talk Like a Pirate day (recorded 9/19/09), because Captain Tennant himself has a famous audio clip of pirate talk! The wenches blabber on about the Sarah Jane adventures set up at the Thames Festival and list what sort of trouble they would get themselves into to wind up in Headmaster David’s office (let it be known Tennantcast is NOT advocating people to Rick roll or consume test papers in pursuit). The wenches be eyein’ a Casanova photoshoot with pleasure, it being the most Pirate-ish one available, which leads to spyin’ in on a horribly realistic Japanese Doctor Who manipulation. For the Character Series, the wenches weigh in discussion of The Bill, which tells a tale of a young Captain Tennant with awful hair abducting a 15 year old girl, in which Flossie enlightens us with fun facts of the tube station the beginning scenes were filmed at.

Tennantcast #18 – Scottish Leopard Men

Tennantcast_LogoThis week on Tennantcast, parents are frightened by David Tennant and Doctor Who knowledge while discussion follows swiftly about David as a leopard! The far more tame news segment features Kelsey, Kari and Flossie discussing Masterpiece Contemporary, the possibility of David with an American accent and his involvement with a radio adaptation of Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men.’ Never missing a chance to improve on their previous efforts, the cleaner and more stylish Tennantcast website is praised.

This week’s picture comment features David with headphones, spawning plans in Kelsey’s brain for a new Tennantcast logo. Time stalls these plans (photoshopping at midnight is never a wise idea) and not a moment too soon as your three hosts soon take up discussion about the 2005 remake of “The Quatermass Experiment” for this week’s Character series. It went out live, don’t ya know?

Tennantcast #17 – I’m a pony!

David Tennant? Fabio?! Richard Simmons?!? CopyofCopyoftennantcast2copyThis and so much more is discussed in a very lively and laughter-filled episode of Tennantcast. Your hosts Kelsey, Kari, and Flossie have quite a merry discussion of what David’s alternative jobs could be, which lead into a game once played between our previous editor and Kelsey. Our news segment was mostly filled with discussion of absurd laws, short term memory, and if David likes roller coasters. Our Picture Comment of the Day poses an important question of “what would you do if you found David tied to your bed like in the Friday Night Project episode?” and is answered with yet another picture that begs the question of one’s reaction if you found him staring in your window with “that face”. Our Character Series had some technical difficulties with server issues, so we decided to get the smallest role out of the way – his one liner in Jude. All of this is topped with the cherry of terrible photo manipulations and a certain enthusiastic dance instructor.

Tennantcast #16 – David Dances

Episode sweet 16 gets its “groove on” with yCopyofCopyoftennantcast2copyour usual hosts, Kelsey, Kari and Flossie. In the news segment, we toy with the idea of a “Doctor Who WORST Moments/Companions/Monster” special, and finally the girls pinpoint a photoshoot they don’t like (and that’s saying a lot for fangirl standards). And the Picture Comment of the Day is where we really get the party started, contemplating how does David dance – Macarena or Pop, Lock, and Drop it? We may never know, presumably nay on the latter… For the Character Series, they watch what they decide is a short film that changes meaning every time one watches, Sweet Night Good Heart. The girls deem it better than Nine and Half Minutes, and mark similarities between it and Secret Smile.

All of September we will be recording at convenient time for guest hosts for the Talk to the People Who’ve Talked to Tennant special for a big combination episode that will be loads of fun! Keep applying!

Tennantcast #10 – Tennant, ten, voll pote celebration!

In this special episode, your Tennant Empire hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie celebrate their small, but noteworthy accomplishment of reaching ten episodes! It was only the girls in this episode, but we enjoyed simple “partying” and rambles from everything from horror movies to dress codes. In news, Flossie and Kelsey have no faith in the upcoming St. Trinian’s (apart from David, of course!), and all agree this Bilbo Baggins possible casting is all talk. This episode is particularly special, because, at the very end, we have very sweet comments sent in from Cate, Sarah, George, Ryan, and… A secret message to Kari and Flossie :)
