Covering everything from his worst reviews, his smallest roles, his weirdest rumors and exploring all his works, we go down memory lane and reminiscence about our feelings and first reactions. There’s no Picture Comment of the Day or reviews, as everything will return to normal next week.

Tennantcast #30 – I’ll Sign Your Autograph When I Have a Free Hand

Welcome to the first ever (hopefully annual) Tennantcast Christmas Special! We have a very exciting, very giddy, very entertaining special for you all, even with some added surprises! We are joined by a very sleepy, yet faithful friend George (and the clock!) as we enjoy a very light, conversational episode. We don’t break tradition with our news segment, in which we discuss the Hamlet and St. Trinian’s trailers, Nevermind the Buzzcocks, and the Oxford Climate Change videos Kelsey’s class almost saw! Our most talked about news piece was certainly the new photos floating around of David in Rex is not your Lawyer playing golf… Or putt-putt! Again, not breaking tradition, our Picture Comment of the Day is a screencap from Nevermind the Buzzcocks, in which David looks particularly cranky (or about to kill.) We sort of fall into a holiday discussion of Santa/Father Christmas stories. Kelsey and Flossie *freak* out when we both discover we watch the Muppet Christmas Carol every year as our Christmas tradition. The episode winds down with a very humorous discussion of the most awful scenarios in which we meet David (and our audience finally discovers what a duck CALLER is!)

Tennantcast#27 – My Precious

A short episode this time! For this recording, Kelsey and Kari are there (kind of like old times) since Flossie can’t be with them because of a recording mix-up. But as her spirit is there, the two girls talk about David and Pudsey, reading bedtime stories (in which Kari has been waiting for this moment) and how David narrowly missed Zachary Quinto at the NTAs (in which Kelsey would have combusted and died from) but he’s still with the lovely Catherine Tate. They watched the St. Trinian’s II trailer (giggling like bmmad) and will be watching the rest of the video, plus Waters of Mars and Dreamland discussions will be on next time because Flossie threatened if she heard “waters” and “mars” in the same sentence. Of course picture comment of the day is always an inspirational moment and the big hub that started it all, Tennantively, has a brand spanking new layout!

Tennantcast #24 – Checkers anyone?

In this week’s Tennantcast we have a special guest host to fill in while Flossie is on holiday and Kari is ill. Going off topic is the theme of the day where discussions of The Office, mullets and plastic bags (among other things) are the norm, though as always there’s news about David. There’s talk of the London Film Festival premiere of Glorious 39, including the mention of David’s, ahem, fashion sense at the premiere. David is also on The Sarah Jane Adventures so naturally that gets a shout out, as does his upcoming guest appearance on The Graham Norton Show in early November along with much more! Join Kelsey and Sara for some Tennant and not-so-Tennant fun!

Tennantcast #16 – David Dances

Episode sweet 16 gets its “groove on” with your usual hosts, Kelsey, Kari and Flossie. In the news segment, we toy with the idea of a “Doctor Who WORST Moments/Companions/Monster” special, and finally the girls pinpoint a photoshoot they don’t like (and that’s saying a lot for fangirl standards). And the Picture Comment of the Day is where we really get the party started, contemplating how does David dance – Macarena or Pop, Lock, and Drop it? We may never know, presumably nay on the latter… For the Character Series, they watch what they decide is a short film that changes meaning every time one watches, Sweet Night Good Heart. The girls deem it better than Nine and Half Minutes, and mark similarities between it and Secret Smile.

All of September we will be recording at convenient time for guest hosts for the Talk to the People Who’ve Talked to Tennant special for a big combination episode that will be loads of fun! Keep applying!

Your usual guest hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie are joined by the likes of a fun guest host – Meleena! She’s quite a unique fan, as not many can say they have a song written about David Tennant for their birthday (which you can totally jam out to at the end of the podcast)! We talked about a very cold, dirty, Thames-swimming David Tennant in our Picture Comment of the Day, and enjoyed being utterly confused by Nine and Half Minutes. The girls finished up by remarking over his terrible blonde highlights and get distracted by some of the strangest youtube videos known to fans. And as a side note, we had loads of fun – almost too much – and are now slowly collecting pieces for a future blooper take. Enjoy and keep applications coming for September’s Talk to the People Who’ve Talked to Tennant special!

Tennantcast #10 – Tennant, ten, voll pote celebration!

In this special episode, your Tennant Empire hosts Kelsey, Kari and Flossie celebrate their small, but noteworthy accomplishment of reaching ten episodes! It was only the girls in this episode, but we enjoyed simple “partying” and rambles from everything from horror movies to dress codes. In news, Flossie and Kelsey have no faith in the upcoming St. Trinian’s (apart from David, of course!), and all agree this Bilbo Baggins possible casting is all talk. This episode is particularly special, because, at the very end, we have very sweet comments sent in from Cate, Sarah, George, Ryan, and… A secret message to Kari and Flossie
